That doesn't mean it's not a dumb move to make especially with how the luxury tax aprons are set up this whole run happened with him in the rotation, you cant just boot the rookie for playing like a rookie on a team that was projected to be ass anyway

This isn't 2k, they dont have to speedrun a ECF level team yet when they have plenty of young players to develop over the next couple of years


How would you even get a good deal on him when he literally hasn't even figured out his identity yet in the league? It's not like the team plays through him, no one knows what his ceiling is yet.
