All of them, but especially UD been super impressive on the breakdowns and insights.


Amazon got one with this lineup.

The game film grain seemed a bit too light.
And Wade, just from his past TV performances, is probably gonna be a weak / odd point on the broadcast.

But outside of that everything was on point.

The main driving point his supporters had was analytics . This isn’t some old man yelling at the clouds shyt..You can go dig through draft twitter and Reddit and see it for yourself

They used his shooting splits and stuff like the number of deflections he had to project that he had all star two way potential …I was there…the shyt was outrageous.

It seems you're using a conversation(s) you took part in as representative of a whole, or at least, the main discussion.

Yeah, his 3-pt percentage was certainly a talking point around his projection, but from all the scouting reports and discourse that I saw, there certainly wasn't this analytics-driven agenda to propel him. A lot of those same cats hyping up his 3s, were also wary of how good he could be given he was undersized and wasn't that good at creating his own shot. Like many white prospects, there was a whole lot of talk around his intangibles, which was certainly more glaring to me than this analytics angle.

I don't know why you're bringing up deflections as if he didn't average 2.5 steals, as if somehow Casuals haven't typically used steals to overrate defense since the beginning of time.

With all that said - we're only two games into the season, where he's been thrown in at the deep end on a team that has no offensive identity. I'm not his biggest fan but it's too early to be writing the book on him. Even Amen hasn't looked good being thrust into his new role.
