Long term I would say wins, Spurs are doing great so far but I imagine their schedule will get tougher

yeah, their schedule is a cakewalk to start.

Spurs might get 50 wins this season

hopefully. Steph/Jimmy won 50 games and were a play-in team last season. The spurs need to win ~16 more games than last season to be the 6 seed if last year is any indication

he's kinda disrespected. I get the whole "you like players your team drafted more than the ones they traded for" part of fandom, but a rookie is not making an all-star/all-nba/clutch player of the year recipient expendable.

They're not gonna trade a guy they just gave a max contract to. That's crazy

Team around him getting enough wins. If the Spurs end up with a top 3 seed in the West he going to be a lock for it.

His team is better but they still relying on the corpse of Harrison Barnes and they one injury away from Bismack Biyombo playing 20 minutes a game.

It’s going to be interesting trying to get Harper, Fox & Castle minutes

Fox at the 1 Castle at the 2. Whichever one gets gassed first or is playing like ass Harper comes in.

He going to come off the bench all year but he going to get 20 min or more a game.

The real problem will be if he really takes a leap and all of a sudden it's clear he needs to play more and have the ball more. At that point it will be time to have a discussion about Castle or Fox.

I think they have a top 5 seed potential in the West especially when Fox comes back..and Wemby stats will be video game like which will give him that boost, his only real competition will be Shai/Jokic/and maybe Luka
