I think Jeanie is locked in for a couple more years under the deal.

We’ll see

Mark Cuban & Wyc Grousbeck were supposed to be running things still during their ownership transitions and they quickly got deeboed. She might end up having a title in name only

Guys aren’t going to pay billions to not be the primary decision maker

it’s early and he still has time to improve but Amen hasnt really takened that leap. Year 3 and broadcaster still just talking about his elite athleticism. He either needs to develop that jumper or become a better og. You can’t jsut still be a Swiss Army knife getting that rookie designated max contract. You can’t just excel at being an elite athlete. It’s becoming a trend where at West once a game you asked yourself, how did you miss that shot Amen(at the rim). Happened multiple times this game against Cleveland. There’s nobody with pg experience on the rockets staff or roster(outside of an injured FVV) to help mentor and mold Amen into that position.
Most players who get the "super athletic but can't shoot" tag never end up being able to shoot.

Amen more likely to up a Derrick Jones Jr type than a legit star or 1st or 2nd option on offense.

His game is extremely robotic dude play basketball like chatgpt responding to a prompt.

Usually a precursor to those type of players becoming good enough shooters are that they are dynamic, see the floor well, and can actually run an nba offense.

Dejounte Murray came into the league not being able to shoot for shyt but one thing he learned to do was run a real offense and could make great passes, see the floor well, etc.

Same thing with Steph Castle. Can't shoot for shyt but put the ball in his hands and he can rack up 14, 15 assist.

This is the thing Amen can't do which leads me to believe he never going to be anything other than a trash shooter.

20% from three is crazy. Steph couldn't shoot that bad if he tried. :pachaha:

West got crazy overhyped in the offseason, very top heavy conference

They’ve got more title contenders than the East but I’d argue the East has more quality teams overall
I think the problem is there are so many quality teams in the west that it's hard to go on more than a 2 or 3 game winning streak. Pelicans are ass but anytime I turn into one of there games with 6 minutes left they either up 6 or down 6. Same thing with the blazers.

It really feels like we've entered a new era of NBA basketball. There's more talent in the league than ever, but it's spread out much more evenly. Who would have thought a year ago that the Pacers had what it takes to make it in the Finals, and come within half a game from winning it all? Conventional wisdom says you need a top-five superstar or two on your team to get that far, but that doesn’t appear to be the rule anymore

Low key the Cavs would probably be starting Ball if they weren't limiting his minutes due to that knee. Their second squad actually brought them back in that game :sas2:
No Ime and his stupid substitutions brought them back.

That lineup with Tate, Clint, Okogie in the floor at the same time was mind blowing. Every Houston podcaster and media was questioning Ime about that after the game. Could’ve been an early night for KD but instead he was forced to play 35+ minutes again.
