White boys wanted their Great White American Hope bad and put the wrong label on him.

Do i think he generational? No, he isn't particularly elite at one thing.

HOWEVER

I think he was the most NBA ready player that still had enough upside to make him the clear #1. He's a great Swiss army knife that has an interesting development path.

He is gonna be an integral piece to a championship team, imho.

Yeah, I think he's gonna be good but he's gonna be a work in progress for a while. He reminded me of a Pippen/Kawhi type player in college and it took both of those guys years to become scorers in the NBA.
