I see the vision with coop and amen playing PG

Forces both of those young guys to understand the offense quicker, get comfortable playmaking from anywhere, and understand better what they should be doing when the real PG's get back to those teams

And they are more likely to be healthy and playing long stretches in the playoffs, it's gonna pay off a lot for both teams

Doesn't matter if they start off the season shaky and lose a few games because of it, only way for them to learn is to do it

Yup, especially for Amen. If he can't shoot he really needs to be able to lean on playmaking to make him a formidable offensive threat. The problem for both is if they were on bad teams everybody would be cool with those plans as they take their lumps but eventually grow as players. But both are on teams expected to win now so the pressure is more to win versus developing them both long term.

Neither seem like dumb players who will take long to learn imo, by all star break they should be aight and used to it.

And because they are both on good teams it's less pressure for them cuz they can just get moved back to their true positions down the stretch, both of them are just doing this solely because their PG's are injured

Nah people were definitely gassing up Cam as an upgrade over MPJ at the 3 spot for DEN

Mind you, i'm talkin Teague's crew who was high on Cam as a missing contender piece since last year, and the Arenas crew saying it was a fair swap.

Granted, both pods also said MPJ with his new found green light would come out the gate averaging near 30ppg with BK :mjlol:

But shyt, 81 games to go!

I didn't know Flag was just 18. And so, him putting up 10 & 10 in his first game as a rookie isn't bad at all tbh. It just looks "bad" because Wemby is a demon that made everyone else on the floor look basic.

Never watched Flag play in college so watching him play the other night for the first time, it didn't "impress" me but 3 seasons from now when he's still only 21, that's a lot of time to develop into a demon in his own right. Hell, 7 years from now when he's only 25, maybe he'll be Orlando Aaron Gordon, or maybe he'll be last night's Aaron Gordon :pachaha:

I'm anticipating this Wemby vs Zion game like a playoff game. I hope it's kinda close so we get to see at least 30 mins of Wemby. He's bringing that Jordan excitement back for me :banderas:

Yeah, Cooper skipped a grade, which does make what he's doing a little more impressive. It was just an unlucky matchup for his debut.

I also wonder how things would have shaken out had he converted that alley-oop to start the game. Playing him at point was also a mistake by Kidd.
