Not necessarily the answer, but there has to be realistic expectations sometimes. When a team has been as bad as the Kings had been for so long, sometimes making the playoffs is enough for a few years.
There's absolutely no reason for going from being the 3 seed in the West to back to back years as a play in team to what they are now.
This all happened in THREE YEARS.
Management and ownership are responsible.

Making the playoffs -once- and they should just accept mediocrity?

They lost in 7 games to a Warriors team fresh off the Finals after going up 2-0 then decided to run it back :dead:

Every game they lost they either lost the rebound battle, or were equal to the Warriors

How is Kevon Looney equaling your starting center's total rebounds with just offensive boards? How is Sabonis getting punked by dudes shorter and smaller than him constantly, but only shows up against Anthony Davis?

I thought it was more than obvious from that series that the frontcourt was the problem. However, Murray and Sabonis are still on the team and starting :hubie:

Keegan Murray isn't a problem tho.
He's starting at PF because the Kings refuse to add any legit wing players to the roster.
His rebounding numbers have gone up every year of his career.

Keegan Murray won't be a superstar and many feel he's not worth what he got paid either. He's become a really good defender on a team full of awful defenders outside of Keon Ellis.

It didn't help that the Kings have constantly brought in ball dominant offensive players either.

This was about trading Sabonis right after the Kings made the playoffs. After having the longest playoff draught in NBA history. My point was that even though a team with DeAaron Fox and Sabonis as the best players isn't going to win the championship. They were a competitive team that was making the playoffs. In some instances, that is enough for the moment.

The Thunder are 11-1 and Jalen Williams hasn't even played yet this season. That team is so deep. They might win around 70 games this season.

Looking at their schedule, tonight’s Laker game was intended to be a “schedule loss” (2nd of a b2b, after a perceived good GSW team)

But if OKC wins tonight… they face nothing but trash for the rest of the month aside from MIN, and no b2bs… they could be 20-1 to start December.

I knew Jordan Walsh had this in him. I'm so happy he didn't let the negative stuff take him down. He's using his length and speed so well on defense.

Wemby with at least one block in 96 games in a row. That's already the third-longest streak in history, after Ewing and Mutombo.
