Yall are talking about team success, I'm talking about their games. Yall really believe Giannis is going to be as good when he can’t jump or barrel over folks anymore. Unless he develops somewhat of a jumpshot like LeBron, it’s going to get ugly.
No we are telling you Giannis is better than Ja period even if you take the teams out of it

Ja has no jumper, is thin, not tall

So when BOTH of them lose their athleticism, which one is gonna still be somewhat viable on the court?

Probably the guy who is still tall, muscular, always gives 100% effort on the court :manny: That still can get you 10 rebounds a night, can still be a brick wall of a screen setter too.

Ja literally brings nothing to the table outside of highlight acrobatics :unimpressed: i drafted this nikka 3 seasons in a row expecting his game to expand and watched everyone surpass him

Breh, being just tall & strong don't mean sh*t, lol. Ex. Kwame Brown.

*edit* and I know it's the cool thing on the Coli to hate on Ja now, but yall going to crazy length to diminish dude.

Lauri been injured so they tanked so no one was watching

But him and Shaedon Sharpe have both turnt into 25-30pt players on their trash teams on the lowest of keys
Yeah I've seen Sharpe, dude be putting people on posters. Portland got a nice young core as well.

Speaking of George and Utah, where Kessler at, haven't seen him tonight, guessing injured and shyt.

:jbhmm: it does in this hypothetical where both players lose their athleticism, neither of them are super skill type players being tall and strong makes you more valuable on a basketball court than a nikka who is shorter and skinny

nikka Kwame is one of the biggest busts in NBA history how dare you use him as an example :laff: nikka had tiny hands and NEVER had a dog mentality, Giannis is a former MVP and put 50 on nikkas headtops in a finals game 7

You in here comparing him to nikkas that have won absolutely nothing and are already on a downward spiral

Stay on topic and explain how an unathletic Ja is better on a basketball court than an unathletic Giannis

gun to your head you KNOW you wouldn't take Ja :mjlol:he wouldn't be able to do a damn thing out there, like i said atleast Giannis can set screens and rebound, the hell would Ja do?

I mean… Giannis is 31 years old, in his 13th season :skip:

The same age as Shaq in 2004, but with better durability and more games played.

Barring a major injury… is he going to “lose” his athleticism in 2-years? Unlikely.

How about in 4-years… at 35, in year 17? I mean, if that’s when the naysayers can finally say “I told you so!” Well… ok :pachaha:

A bit different than Ja who looks cooked at 26, in a league where most small, frail, explosive guards are cooked by their late 20s/have to adjust their games

I mentioned the other day about which acquisition could be the “Rasheed” for DET.

I’d favor Lauri over Zack. Neither are that durable but Lauri is 3 years younger, and that would be a hell of a double big twin tower front court

Now I dunno if Ainge is still in UTA, still trying to be the failed version of Presti, while still living off 2008… but I wouldn’t be in any rush with any BS offers if I’m DET.

Quoted for emphasis :pachaha: Andre Drummond is 32 on year 13 just like Giannis and still had a double double in his last 4 games, being tall and in shape can extend the hell out of your career

A small guard has to either become a court general like CP3, lockdown defender like Jrue, or a fukking sniper at the 3, things Ja will never become cuz he refuses to work on these things

Good to see Hayes-Davis in the NBA.

Everybody wants to leave the USA, blah blah blah.

I bet he's glad he's back in the states instead of being in damn Turkey:mjlol:. If he wasn't glad, he would've stayed over there

Zach got his player option next year, teams will probably just wait and he'll get traded after opting in, he won't get a contract that big again in his career

Lauri is signed through the 2029 season, no player or team options, unless he gets hurt again Utah is gonna wanna keep him and see if Ace can buy in, those two with Keyonte could be something

If not they gonna want a haul for Lauri, might fukk up Detroit doing that
