Jaylen Brown deserves some MVP recognition if he keeps this up. Nobody expected the Celtics to be this good, and he's beating good teams.

Facts. No one wants to admit this because they are terrified of giving the Celtics credit. 90% of basketball "experts" said JB isn't a franchise player and the Celtics would be a lottery bound team. They don't want to broadcast this because it ruins their credibility

This rookie class is insane. I can't remember this many good rookies this early in a long ass time. Cooper, VJ, Kon, Harper, Queen, Fears, Coward, Bailey. The future is bright, and next year could be even better :wow:

Breaking it down by age:

Mid-to-late 30s
LeBron/Curry/Durant/Harden/Kawhi/Butler/Russ/CP3

Early 30s
Jokic/Giannis/Embiid/AD/Kyrie/KAT/Siakam/Randle

Mid-to-late 20s
Shai/Luka/Tatum/Donovan/Hali/Maxey/Brunson/ Booker/Reaves/Lauri/Fox/MAGAJr/Trae/Ja

Early 20s
Wemby/Ant/Cade/J.Johnson/J.Duren/Sengun/ Thompson Twins/Castle/Giddey/LaMelo

Then add the Rookie Class you mentioned and what’s to come next year, and yea, a lot of talent.

But that 25-29 year old class of talent is something else

Now i see why Pat Spencer look comfortable out there, he was the Luka of lacrosse :ohhh: Heisman winner

@MicIsGod Kuminga never stood a chance, this dude has legit winning DNA :wow: Kerr had to put respect on it

Pat Spencer had a legendary college lacrosse career at Loyola University Maryland Athletics, becoming the NCAA Division I all-time leader in assists (231) and finishing second in points (380), earning the 2019 Tewaaraton Award (lacrosse Heisman) before pivoting to basketball at Northwestern, and later making his mark in the NBA with the Golden State Warriors

His brother too :gucci: saw his name pop up in fantasy free agency as a sleeper pick

Cam Spencer is a prominent American athlete famous for his dual-sport success in college basketball (UConn, Rutgers, Loyola) and as a standout lacrosse player at Loyola Maryland, where he was a four-time All-American and set the NCAA assist record before his younger brother, Pat Spencer, became a lacrosse legend and pro basketball player

I still don't understand why GS turned down Monk and a pick for Kuminga. Monk alone is better than Kuminga.

IIRC the Warriors wanted the pick to be unprotected bc they didn’t like the years on Monk’s contract but the Kings weren’t willing to
