It may be best for them to part ways with Trae. They aren't winning a title with him I doubt but they could get some useful pieces if they decided to trade him. Probably won't get 1 individual player better then him but they could collectively get a decent haul and rebuild around Johnson Daniels and Zach.
It's such an obvious easy move.
I'm the biggest and most vocal Trae hater on this board, but a move to an established team and a scaled back role would help him tremendously. He's stuck as this face of the franchise, do everything guy in Atlanta, that's he's literally too weak physically as a human being to be. As an aside to a better player though? He could be good
Also would turn Atlanta into a hub of young talent if they can get a crazy haul for him. They already have an insane amount of young talented versatile guys, and imagine just piling a whole bunch more of that on to it. They'd have to sort it all out over a year or two, but that's not a bad position to be in
