Shaq and Kobe were surrounded by very capable 3/D role players including a stretch 4 in Horry that was atypical/luxurious in a league where most 4s and 5s couldn’t shoot.

Trey is pretty valuable in terms of production, contract and young enough that they can use him as a building block for whatever their next team looks like. Unless the Pels get completely blown away in a trade offer there's no reason to move him
