As long as they core 4 play (Fox, Harper, Castle and Wemby)

I got the Spurs beating the Pistons or whoever come out the east in the playoffs

They battle tested, dont think OKC in they current state would win a WCF against em
very happy with the Spurs. I honestly had them at 46 wins on the season

but there's a lot of time between R1 of the playoffs and the finals. Let's play it series by series

Yea, Spurs have no experience being game planned on for 7-games, and a team like MIN even with all their knuckleheads would likely bounce them out in a series just off experience. Same with Denver.

Castle and the chubby Bruce Brown looking one will probably have a rough playoffs, which is to be expected in a year 1 run.

Detroit will have a rough playoffs too, after round 1. Which is to be expected as well.

There’s not knowing what to expect as an underdog just happy to be there. Which was them last year.

And not knowing what to expect as a favorite with a big red target on your back. Which is the leap they made this year. 2nd round will be an experience for them, especially if they face a team like Boston.

Also gotta factor who they played to get there. Bulls went through IND and ATL, no one to match Rose’s star power nor exploit his team’s flaws.

Pistons 2nd round opponent will likely be CLE, NYK, BOS, or PHI. Fully healthy, Cade will be at a 2-1 star disadvantage in most/all of those. Similar to what Rose saw in the ECFs.

Spurs are not really battle tested like that in a 7 game series.

Wemby, Castle, Harper, Vassell, Champagnie & Keldon all have no playoff experience

Fox has only played one series

Mitch Johnson never coached a 7 game series

Teams that inexperienced usually don’t win championships the first go round. Even OKC, as young as they were didn’t win the first time.

With Detroit, they’re inexperienced too but I still believe they need a legit second option. I just don’t believe Duren or Tobias can be that if they’re serious about winning a title.

Castle seems like a great playoff guy to me. I’m more concerned for the rook off the bench.

Might not be a team in the league who can go 7 with them :hubie:

Pistons not at they final form. This was an eval period and it just so happened that they turned out to be damn good during that time. If they happen to make a title run while evaluating where their gaps are then that's just gravy. Surprisingly, continuity can really benefit young teams, who knew :manny:
