I would normally agree but they have a TRUE 5 out offense. You can afford an iffy shooter like him. He’s not amen, he will still take and make some jumpers especially in the mid range. His rim pressure complements Wemby nicely.

Spurs are not really battle tested like that in a 7 game series.

Wemby, Castle, Harper, Vassell, Champagnie & Keldon all have no playoff experience

Fox has only played one series

Mitch Johnson never coached a 7 game series

Teams that inexperienced usually don’t win championships the first go round. Even OKC, as young as they were didn’t win the first time.

With Detroit, they’re inexperienced too but I still believe they need a legit second option. I just don’t believe Duren or Tobias can be that if they’re serious about winning a title.

We’ve seen again how different playoff basketball and regular season basketball is nowadays. although I must say, this season has been restoring the feeling with the top/hot teams.

When these guys start playing really tough, strategically, studying their opponents, the arena is boiling, cats are tired etc. it’s quite different

Castle job isn't to shoot jumpers. It's to get into the lane, collapse the defense, and pass the ball to people who shoot jumpers like Julian and Devin.

Teams want to stay at home on them fine...Castle is just going to get into the lane and play the two man game around the rim with Wemby. Good luck
