Watching the NBA for over 30 years I’ve learned almost nothing that happens in March is real lol

I’ve seen so many scrubs put up big numbers in March and get hyped up.

You have teams tanking, good teams are just trying to get healthy for the playoffs etc

I remember as a Knicks fan Mardy Collins once had a great March lol

i think wemby has had the biggest impact in the league this year in his minutes played, but i think him playing at least 300 fewer minutes than the other serious mvp candidates is going to keep him from being a real threat to win the mvp this year.

Ace is averaging 25 over the past week or somethin. Ive been impressed with his help defense.
Harper b2b 20+
Vj averaging 30 over his last 3 as the primary guard.

This rookie class delivered
All 4 of these dudes could legit be number 1 or 2 franchise players.

Hard to see any draft class better than this for awhile.

VJ and Harper didn't even get to do the "jack up shots on bad teams" rookie stuff that Ace and Coop did. From day one they had to play winning basketball on teams that are trying to make deep playoffs runs. It don't get any harder than that. Ask James Wiseman.

Imagine a rookie guard coming into the nba and they get told day 1 you the first guy off the bench you got to be a top scoring option AND run the second unit. Harper and VJ should get some ROY consideration for that alone.

Love that Wemby is off that PC humble shyt. Pop had the personality clamps on the Spurs for so long that it's refreshing hearing them campaign for the respect they deserve now.
I was in sulphur springs last month and met a bunch of of spurs games asked them what’s the bets part about this resurgence for the spurs and a lot then felt the same way you just posted: the personality.

Said they loved pops but hated how he made the Franchsie monotonous for almost two decades pretty much starting with getting rid of Rodman. Said that spurs should’ve been as loud as the lakers and warriors fans. Pops ran the franchise like they were ina communist state.

Said they love the attitude of Wemby and these new spurs. Told me they needed it. Said they felt the rockets were punking them during those season Brooks was there. Told me we were dumb for getting rid of Dillon Brooks. He brought the culture and workmanship to the franchise and now we’re not a threat to San Antonio anymore with this new non-identity we have :martin:

How the hell did spurs fans get up to sulphur springs. Been to Texas a lot and spurs fans don’t travel like that. You don’t see them a lot inthe Dallas and Houston areas

Yea I hate to admit it but that tranny-loving weirdo was the heart and soul of the team :francis:

It was a mistake to ditch him

Dallas by way of Houston by way of San Antonio

Funny you say that since I'm in DFW now (and lived in Houston before) repping the Spurs. I haven't been to a Spurs game in San Antonio since Game 5 Spurs/Heat in 2014. Every other game since then has been in enemy territory.

But yeah, Pop made shyt too military. It's already tough getting free agents to move to San Antonio. Throw in the fact that Pop wouldn't let them have fun like that made it even more difficult. Duncan being chill and humble was a gift and a curse, because Pop expected everyone else to fall in line like that (Kawhi started thinking differently after he got to enjoy allstar weekend for the first time).

Rockets fukked up letting Brooks go, but they'd be much better with FVV healthy. Wasting all that time trying to have Amen run point, making KD work more for his offense. The fact that they completely ignored looking into a PG at the trade deadline was criminal.

I've never seen something like that happen when a person was in mid air. I mean WTF....Just insane. Can't even begin to imagine his mind state with this happening right after coming back from a prior injury. I mean, will he even be mentally fit to play basketball again once he recovers from the injury . Ugh... unfortunate situation :mjcry:
shyt happened to my brother twice while hooping. Gruesome shyt to look at I'm person. Second time me and him both were completely desensitized to it though.
