Wemby and Jokic reminds me of Shaq and Hakeem

Like Shaq Wemby may have the better career but he’ll always get gamed by Jokic the same way Dream used to do Shaq

Every great has their kryptonite

I definitely see parallels with

Wemby with SAS = Shaq with Orlando
Jokic with DEN = Hakeem with Houston
Shai with OKC = MJ with Chicago

But to be fair, similar to what happened last night… Hakeem didn’t game Shaq as much as Houston lil bro’d Orlando.

i.e.
‘95 Finals Shaq (22 yrs old… Wemby’s age) averaged 28 and 13 on 56% vs a 30-something year old Hakeem (Jokic’s age range) who averaged 32 and 12 on 48%

They both got at each other. Just like the other night Wemby put up buckets too… and it’s kinda fukked up that Wemby gets judged on defending Jokic and scoring buckets… whereas there’s no expectation for Jokic to guard or stop Wemby.

Reminds me of those Luka vs Kawhi playoff matchups
