People complaining about the 65 game threshold. Keep this rule, and hopefully going forward you’ll see less players sitting out random games during the season because injuries will happen.

players sit out, at minimum 5 random games before we even hit all star games, not leaving them any room for legit injuries later into the season.

I like the rule.

I’m too old for stan wars (“my guy has 3 MVPs and yours has zeeeerrroo!”) and I don’t really care if Cade has to wait til next year to qualify for a 300m max vs a locked in 200m max. He’ll be fine either way.

So if the 3% of players who get to be in that situation gotta figure out a way to show up for work 65 outta 82 workdays… they’ll figure it out just like Kawhi did. Or they were always hopeless like Embiid.

In regards to the 65 game threshold, the NBA and players' union should agree on a team of doctors for the league to see if a player is really injured or not. Reasoning being that although I like the 65 game rule, if you are REALLY injured(like Cade), there should be some grace given, but if you miss 18 games for rest/load manage, get the fuçk outta here tryna get an award/all-nba recognition:camby:
Nobody not named Kawhi has ever done this. When people miss that kinda time its because of actual injury (mixed with some load managing). This was always gonna affect guys that got hurt.
