It's crazy because it's not like he was injured or physically unable to do anything football related for that entire time he wasn't playing to fall off that far from where he was in Houston. We've seen guys like Vick locked up/suspended, Peyton not even able to throw, Carson holdout, etc. for extended time and able to play up to par or even better

Part of it is that he’s a shotgun QB in an under center offense but son is definitely done.
