I'd rather watch the flippy indie guys put effort into getting crowd pop, than watch Orton do restholds and the bare minimum in his matches while relying on his sneaky snake tantrum+finisher and theme song to get any crowd reaction.

Orton criticizing the guys who actually try in their matches is ironic given that he is emblematic of the quantity>quality WWE stereotype of doing just enough to stay healthy for the next show.

Having said that, if WWE were savvy they'd make this into an angle where Orton goes up against Smack's local 'indie darlings' and cuts promos shytting on smarks and the indie scene. It would get heat and it would be reflective of the real-life push/pull generational conflict between 'flippy-shyt' vs. the old school that's going on today.

So Corbin's gimmick?

Can't support anything Klandy does.

Bubba has a black brother in kayfabe. Orton doesn't have anything to do with black people kayfabe or otherwise. The dude is Shawn Stasiak with a better finisher and better family connections. They could erase him from WWE history like Benoit and literally NOTHING good would be gone.

City of Angels :blessed:
Tv ratings arent really a good gauge of anything dude

Like who even has cable anymore?

I watch raw and smackdown every week... on daily fukkin motion

nikkas have the internet fam..I literally don't know a single person that still has cable at this point. With that said, obviously billions of people still have it somewhere out there, but that shyts dying a RAPID death. A quick google search will give you a million articles about cables continuing death that point out how amazon, netflix, etc. are on a rapid rise. The game shifted and as much as we laughed at the WWE when they first went the digital route with the network, it was the smartest thing Vince has ever done. As long as the network has subscriptions, they're good...

They're clearly doing great business wise. Record breaking great, so to pretend they're in the shytter because of cable tv ratings is a fukkin joke. Don't be stupid brehs

Calm yo dumb ass down :mjlol: all I said was their ratings are low and you go on this long ass rant. Log off nikka.

It's the truth though. :dwillhuh:

You just refuse to admit that the company has been successful when "indie darlings" are in major roles. Merchandise sales support that point too. AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Dean Ambrose, etc. all have been top sellers. WWE brought in record revenue and you're worried about TV ratings. :heh: Even Raw at its lowest ratings brings in far more viewers than most other programs that they're competing with.

I actually feel bad not responding respectfully to that diatribe since you took the time to type it.

So, how do tv ratings not matter when tv rights fees are one of your two biggest revenue streams? :mjlol:

You can chit chat all you want about this other BS. The TV rights fees is how they make money. The moment USA Network decides they can start producing their own shows that will get decent ratings (which won't be so hard if it keeps dropping) WWE is fukked. The ad revenue they bring in is so low it's not worth it at a certain point if the rating is that bad.

The rest is just you failing to read and comprehend. Nobody is saying they're in the shytter because of bad ratings. I'm just saying they have low ratings. Period. That's indisputable. You can put any spin on that and argue against it that you want.

I'm saying ratings are bad and you're arguing that the company is making money. These are TWO INDEPENDENT ISSUES and one has nothing to do with the other. There can be an extremely low interest in the WWE and they can still run a very profitable business. Do you not understand this??? :gucci:

Top sellers compared to WHO? There's NO STARS in the company anymore because it's overrun by the indy geeks. So those indy geeks (Styles aside, he's GOAT) are just more popular than the other indy geeks. None of them move the needle in any substantial way, the only one who does is Cena. Reigns is second. It doesn't matter anyway, merch sales isn't why the company had such a big year. It's Network subs and TV rights.
