lol revenue streams.. they just had a record breaking financial year, that's besides the point. never once mentioned tv fees or any of that bullshyt..

My point from the jump was that Ratings aren't a great gauge for anything... ratings being "bad" relative to what they used to be doesn't really mean shyt.

the stigma that comes with ratings and the reason you nikkas even bring them up - is because a decline in ratings implies that less eyes are on the product. Less people are watching..

and that's simply not true.. people might not be watching on Cable tv (which is a fukking dying industry) as much as they were in the 90's when the internet was way less prevalent and cable tv was our primary source of entertainment, but people are still watching. the number of network subscriptions speaks for itself..

cable is basically in the weird limbo that the music industry was in with the rise of streaming services / decline of physical album sells. the world is changing my nikka, this shyts just a reflection of the times.

Hunter is obsessed with them, he can't evaluate talent for shyt. Should be no surprise WWE is drawing the lowest ratings in decades with these dudes on the show

Paul Levesque is obsessed with them, because due to the talent influx, WWE runs 3 tours again, and still has 5 hours of programming on USA which will make 2017 WWE highest revenue year in its history, surpassing 2016.

What does that have to do with TV ratings? :dahell:

You stay bringing that shyt up in threads when it has no relevance whatsoever as if it proves anything.

They're making money because of the business model they've built. It's completely irrelevant to current interest/popularity of the product. :mjlol:

You've ignored a mass cultural shift in the way we consume media that's occured in a realitively short period of time, to make a terrible (trolling?) point. If we are going to simplfy how the WWE is doing popularity wise, $$$ would be alot better point than TV ratings which are partially antiquated.

He just refuses to admit when he's wrong. :francis:

But leave it up to him to explain how making record revenue is somehow an L. :mjlol:

Nobody except prestige, premium TV is pulling Attitude Era numbers anymore, though. In this era of Hulu and iTunes, night-of ratings mean almost nothing. I bet if USA were to put Raw and Smackdown up the day after they aired, the +7 numbers would be a much different story.

These Twitter beefs are embarrassing. Orton, Batista, Bubba, and Velvet all look stupid doing this.
