People putting the Love Movement behind the new album, why?
The best songs on Love are better than the best songs on Thank You.
Find A Way is timeless, probably top 5 Tribe songs, none of the new stuff is within top 10 imo.

LET
MM
Peoples Instinctive
Beats Rhymes
Love
Thank You

Their worst is still better than some artist's absolute best though :wow:
This. I'm about to throw their whole discography on one playlist and vibe out all Winter. Crazy thing is, even though they still still tried new things on the later albums (which they were constantly criticized for), they all still have a similar feeling throughout, regardless of whatever was going on behind the scenes

Maybe my taste is different but Low end theory should be number one. We got the jazz, butter, scenario, show business, etc. The only thing I can think of is that my love for Low End Theory is clouding my judgement to where I can't critique the other Tribe albums correctly. It does happen, we love an album or even a movie so much that no sequel or other album can compare

I didn't like that new album tbh. Maybe it'll grow on me.

When you think about it, Tribe is one of the easier lists (IMO of course). Everyone's 1 & 2 SHOULD be the same, in whatever order they prefer (probably whichever one they heard first is #1), then 3-4-5 should all be identical. Now with the 6th album, there can be some room for play, but shouldn't change the Top 3. I see dude up there with BR&L 1 and TLM 2. That's nonsense, and that person knows it.

1. Midnight Marauders
2. The Low End Theory
3. People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm
4. Beats, Rhymes & Life
5. The Love Movement

I'm not gonna list the new joint, because it's just too soon. I will say that early returns are showing that it might be able to slot into #4 quite comfortably.
