Not the first year when Wade was healthy.

They played well together that first year but problem was Wade was never healthy after year 1. But even the years after liek year 3 the way Wade was toying around with the Pacers was the Wade Heat fans knew before Lebron and the injuries

Had more to do with Lebron becoming more and more ball dominant than Wade's phantom chronic injuries.

Wade's injuries are "phantom" now? And he's not repeatedly getting his knee drained cause he has no meniscus? :mjlol:

For saying Bron is better than Bird? You realize that's a pretty strong consensus, right?

Lakers
Hold on why weren’t Kobe and Gasol listed? They went to 3 straight finals together and won back to back. I mean they have Stockton and Malone listed and they didn’t win shyt, they just played together for a long ass time. And they have Duncan and Robinson when Robinson was never the same that injury.

1. Shaq/Kobe - Against the wrong matchup either was capable of dropping 45 if you didn't double. Something no other duo had. And that was when Kobe was actually a beast on defense and Shaq could still protect the rim even though weak against pick and roll.
2. Jordan/Pippen - best defensive duo and when they decided to turn it on were impossible to even bring the ball up the court with. Would be number one if their primes crossed. First three peat Pippen was still too much of a beta and second three peat Pippen was hurting after the first title.
3. Magic/Kareem - Best offenseive chemistry in that Magic could push the ball and kill teams with the other three Lakers and if you stopped that he could dump it down into Kareem to do his work. Only reason I have them this low is that their primes really never crossed. Early years didn't have peak Magic, once Magic hit his prime Kareem was past his prime and Worthy surpassed him in importance.
4. Bird/Mchale - I think folks are sleeping on just how good these two were. The passing on those teams. Both unstoppable on offense and just the size on the two combined with Parish was impossible.
5. Wade/Lebron - Less longevity of the other pairings and Wade began falling off after their first year together.
6. Curry/Durant - Lack of time together. Another title or two and they'll definitely be moving up. Curry being the worst defender out of all these duos hurts though.
7. Malone/Stockton - They played together too long without ever winning. Have to drop them for that.
8. Duncan/Robinson - Only one year of past prime Robinson and after that he was a shadow of his former self.

You put an "old" tag on Kareem, even though he was NBA MVP the year after Magic joined the team, Finals MVP five years later, and had five top-5 MVP finishes with Magic on the team.

Cap was 32 playing with a 20 year old rookie magic. Lebron was 26 playing with a 29 year old D wade. That's why people put the old tag on kareem. When wade was 32 he was washed up injured and lebron couldn't stand playing with him anymore because he didn't know when he was playing.

2008-2011 Gasol has to at least as good if not better than 1999-2003 David Robinson. Robinson was never the same after he broke his foot. Robinson never made an all-star or All-NBA team in any of Duncan's championship years.
