Album of the year. The fact this thread ain’t pinned is crazy. Ransom is the best rapper alive right now and I don’t even engage in them talks often. But he’s on another level than everybody.

I agree, Ran is on a run and he is probably my fave out there today.

Yeah I fukk wit east but ran ran laps around that nikka. The pairing is uneven, east would’ve faired better on a tape with like est gee or Albee Al a skill set in that vein

Yea I wanted to skip all of Easts verses and just get to Ran already. Makes the whole album unlistenable imo

There are at least 3 versions of Ransom, the mixtape version, the first attempts to make albums Ran, and the post 2017/current version. Coup de Grace is a personal classic. Probably my favorite album that year.

Chaos is my Ladder and No Rest For The Wicked are probably my next two faves.

He has some nice EP’s like Spare the Rod, This Life Made Me, and Cabrini Green
