Im glad for his resurgence (in peoples minds more so). Ransom linking up with Vinnie Paz and Ill Bill would be a far stretch back in the Clue days.

I know ya'll asked @hex and not me, but I'm a Bill Shakespeare head, and it's something he wrote that's been elevated to mean much more than he intended. When he wrote it, the original wording was "uneasy lies the head" and he was talking about insomnia. That's it. A war/battle was approaching, and the king couldn't get any sleep. And he was complaining because even though he was this powerful king, he couldn't at least get a decent night's sleep. It was a line about stress and insomnia.
But somewhere along the line, someone mistranslated it as "heavy lies the head" and the line has been elevated in modern culture to be this giant metaphor for responsibility and leadership more broadly.
A lot of his famous lines have been elevated in modern times to mean more than they really did when he wrote them.

I don't care for his production either and I don't know why. There's nothing that blatantly stands out about it that I don't like. And I can enjoy it on rare occasions if I'm in a very specific mood.
But for the most part, it just doesn't land with me. In a weird way I think it almost sounds overproduced. That might sounds crazy for someone that's mostly chopping and looping samples, but I think a lot of his sample choices sometimes sound kind of over the top.
My favorite Big Ghost produced project is his very first EP that he produced for Conway and Westside.
EDIT: At the very least I think it'll be refreshing to hear a Ransom project not produced by Craven.
