Anybody know the rule behind this, if any at all? I find this to be one of the most obnoxious, offensive things when I'm running through radio stations in the car. What if a rap verse on a song is a prime reason why the song is a huge hit in the first place?
Quick examples that immediately come to mind:
-Katy Perry feat Snoop - California Girls
-Maroon5 feat Wiz - forget the name
-Katy Perry feat Juicy J (HUGE example where rap verse is so key)
-most recently, new Maroon5 hit feat J. Cole
This shouldn't be allowed, and I wonder if it's been an issue over the years.
