Not my issue. They vote for who the fukk they believe represents their interests. As any voting block should.

My only concern is getting policy that benefits ADOS. It's not our job to reform the Republican party or to even "save our Democracy".
It's up to Democrats to deliver that for us since we are the voting block that keeps them in power.
Who voting for democrats is demanding reparations?

That’s all you non voting nikkas

And that’s why y’all look crazy not going hard against republicans

During the 2020 Presidential campaigns we had people pressing the Democratic candidates about Reparations. There is literally a Reparations committee in California because of the people demanding Reparations.

"That’s all you non voting nikkas"

Again with this bullshyt. You know ADOS NEVER said "don't vote".
And we don't have to waste all our time crying about how bad Republicans are because...

1. most Black folks already understand this.
2. we already don't vote for the Repubs in any significant numbers

Yes the Repubs are bad. So what is the other side doing to lock down Black voters besides just not being Republicans?

There is a reparations comittee in California. Hmm, I wonder how Republican that state is.

"The Democratic Party currently holds veto-proof supermajorities in both houses of the California State Legislature.[4] The Assembly consists of 60 Democrats and 19 Republicans, with one independent, while the Senate is composed of 31 Democrats and 9 Republicans. Except for a brief period from 1995 to 1996, the Assembly has been in Democratic hands since the 1970 election. The Senate has been under continuous Democratic control since 1970."

You got a state with 75% of the legislature being Democrat that studied Repeartions. Instead of taking the logical conclusion that we should aim for 75% of Congress being Democrat, you want less Democrats which will magically put Reparations on the agenda. :dahell:

I thought the original reason for black farmers receiving aid was due to a lawsuit and Senate Act way back in 2010. How did Biden spearhead this?
This was spearheaded by Warnock and Biden signed into the 1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan Act

Georgia is the state that gave Democrats their Senate majority, and one of the two senators who accomplished it, Raphael Warnock, should be taking bows alongside President Biden when the White House’s “Help is Here” tour visits the peach state on Friday. Warnock is responsible for getting debt relief for Black farmers into the American Rescue Plan, an issue that has eluded meaningful action for decades, and one that he is deeply familiar with having grown up in rural Georgia.

It is highly unusual for a freshman senator in their first months in office to notch such a notable achievement, but his election as the 50th Democrat made passage possible of the $1.9 trillion package. And so a grateful Democratic leadership wants to make sure the voters recognize how central he is to the change Biden promised to deliver.

Tucked into the massive $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill is a provision, for which Warnock is directly responsible, creating a $5 billion fund aimed at benefiting farmers of color who historically have been marginalized and need help to cover outstanding debts and avoid foreclosure—help, by the way, that white farmers routinely receive. Fully $4 billion of the total would go toward debt relief, and $1 billion would provide technical assistance and grants, much belated help to right a grievous historical wrong.

Typical simple-minded reductive view of politics.

Abrams has outlined actual policies to benefit black voters. Kemp hasn't done this.

So has Warnock.

here's stacey's black agenda:

You will never get anything that you don't fight for.

You and the other Dem bootlicxkers have the soul of cowards.
Too scared to fight for what our people need and truly believe the scraps the Dems give us are good enough.
HR 40 aint even passed yet and you're talking bout straight checks.

So, it wasn't about HR 40, then? :sas1:

Good for the California Democrats. Actually doing something for the Black voters in their state. What a fukking novel idea!!

Where did I say that I want LESS Democrats?? I've always said demand something for your vote. If Dems can't meet our demands well good luck to them winning without our votes. It's up to them to meet OUR demands.

We've already given Dems the Majority in the House and Senate and they've still done the minimum for us so stop with this bullshyt. Just put more Dems in office for them to do nothing. Then what will the excuse be??

I'm calling bluff on the checkmate.

It's essentially a 40 billion dollar loan they have to pay back. On top of that they could only access 15% of that 40 billion.

If reparations ended up being structured like that I'd move out of the country.
Wrong!

$40 billion =

$19.7 billion for DOD (we pay ourselves back?)
$4 billion in military financing
$8.8 billion in direct economic support including repairing the U.S. embassy, documenting war crimes, protection against nuclear fuel leaks
$4.35 billion for global food aid administered by an NGO

Which one of these line items will Ukraine have to “pay back” from this massive “loan”?

Choosing to let a MAGA c00n represent you over a self respecting black man is what determines your blackness, yes.
:ohhh: damn it don't get no more clearer than this. I mean I'm for Reparations but I'm also for democracy, doing something about climate change, gun control and politicians who don't worship at the altar of Trump.

People are really gonna not vote for Warnock over one issue and let Walker win the seat?
