God bless him. Most of you guys don't understand, and that's okay. But I remember seeing a crack-ish looking young latino demon tear heads off at Rocksteady Park 20+ years ago. The legendary freestyle battle MC Breez Evaflowin' kinda caught that work from Agallah that day. I shared a laugh with Breez about it a few years back.

Agallah never seemed to recover from the Ghetto Girl thing. That wasn't him. And his pen hasn't evolved much, but the musical talent is still there. Even if you don't care much for his rapping, a lot of his beats are undeniable.
It's just sad, because this type of thing only seems to happen with hip-hop/rap. If he were gifted in any other art he would be a lot more comfortable now, or at least better appreciated. But rap is very trendy, so like @Exit 9 just said, he may very well may feel like he wasted his whole life. That's not funny at all.
Breez is a LEGEND but he's been on the losing end of a few battles

Go to college yall. And if you already older and didn't go before then go now, go online if ya got to. Nigs need to start making 9 to 5 jobs cool, nothing is cool about being a struggling rapper and you're pretty much middle aged. I was coming out the bank and these old nikkas was outside in the van trying to sell me they cd, I didn't even acknowledge them nikkas were speaking to me, kept that shyt movin on them dudes

so he was a Dipset weed carrier back in the day?

He was never close to the main Diplomats team like that. He was affiliated with Purple City/Taliban. I don't know if he has ANY production credits on Dipset major label releases. And that's a shame, but I don't think he knew Jimmy, Juelz & Cam like that. Or for whatever reason, they didn't want to work with him. Maybe Shiest wanted him to be exclusive to Purple City, who knows.

I have the old Purple City dvd. And even then when they were poppin, Agallah came off pretty bummy. I remember they were filming in his beat making lab and it was just a cramped basement with an MPC3000 and some records.

So if that's how he was living at the time his music was actually selling I hate to think of how he's doing now. Shame. Dude really is talented

not hatin or anything.. but if he wasnt even close to Dipset, and was just a 3rd or 4th team affiliate, how did he even make money the past 10-12 years off music, if DIPSET has been dead for that long and he wasnt affiliated like that.

Its no different than someone putting everything into something like playing pro ball and not making it. Making it in the music biz is just as hard you gotta take it for what it is.
Yep, and to be real, he's seen more success/exposure than most who have entered the biz. The thing is that he should've had a more realistic view upon the game from jump, and not put all of his eggs in one basket as far as wanting to be a superstar. I'm pretty sure he still has a niche market, and if he really has love for the game, he could eat okay off of that doing shows here and there. Not everyone is gonna make it big, he should've had other shyt to fall back on.
