It's a lose lose situation. But at least with it being legal, the money and power will go to American corporations instead of Mexican and international drug cartels.
Philadelphia is already Philadelphia now. Looking like a fukking George Romero flick.
If we really cared about homeless addicts we'd build small house communities to get them out of the way off the streets.
We could make everything legal. If you’re foolish enough to abuse hard drugs, then that’s on you. If you your habits ruin your life or you end up dying, that’s your decision. If you end up homeless and addicted, then you have the choice to be locked away into an institution or stay destitute on the streets. If you commit crimes because of addiction, the same. Similar to how alcohol is treated in our society.
All of the dope fiends would eventually die off or be locked away.
Either that, or bring the absolute sledgehammer down on all drug traffickers, dealers, and users. Do like Indonesia and make it punishable by death. They can’t really do that though, because too many papered up $$$ Americans abuse drugs too.
Those are the best (and really only) options.
