That 420 bil is about 11billy per year. Sounds like a lot unti you realize there are an estimated 70k black churches in America. That means the average church is rolling at 116k per year while paying staff, bills and doing outreach. Y'all let Hollywood fool you into thinking being a pastor is some type of hustle when the average Baptist pastor makes $41k a year

Community centers and educational institutions just off top. The key is to avoid a situation where someone is profiting financially from people gathering. Churches consistently try to guilt people into giving money instead of focusing on the issues.

Off top ebenezer, Elizabeth baptist, impact, big bethel, Beulah, victory. All of em had voting registrations booths outside and inside the church. All also walked and canvassed the neighborhoods.
Morehouse and spell mans who were the ground work organized at the church's bc they acted like regional posts easy and free to use. THis happened this year not in the 1950's. Atlanta is literally ground zero for this on top of that these are only the church's I know of off hand and memory many many more particiapated.

Again your referring to a church and how a pastor acts. Not how you use their assets freely and actively. We are talking about two fundamental different things. You're arguing against a topic I'm not even talking about.

No, no, no. I want evidence of black evangelical churches being used to organize economic and political action to provide direct, tangible benefits specifically for the benefit of black people locally and nationally.
Examples:
- churches using their funds to build schools for black children and to hire black teachers to teach the black children
- churches using their funds to build black owned banks that serve the black community, not church members
- churches using their funds to grant loans to black business owners
- churches using their funds to sponsor local black politicians and using their membership base as a voting bloc
- churches using their funds and local pull to fight for legislation/policy directed at aiming resources to the local black population at city hall and state legislature
Voter drives are not political action that will result in tangible results for a black population. Only more black people being registered to vote for which white supremacist they'd like to ignore and patronize them during the presidential term.

Well in Atlanta we got no govenor taking over our black schools. Secondly Atlanta has the best anti genitrifixation laws in the USA. Builders must build houses for poor blacks as well. Atlanta and dc should be the blueprint for other cities. Nationwide it isn't being done to the scale it is as in Atlanta and that scale has decreased due to lack of involvement from young folks. We also voted in freee educational classes for our black ppl in construction, it and other careers. small business micro loans for free in black neighborhoods. That's just a few of many initiatives I've seen in my 2.5 years here
