big pharma ain't gotta lift a finger. There's been snakeoil salesman since biblical times. Every night some infomercials is pitching a miracle cure, hair growth, fat loss, fountain of youth, feel better, yadda yadda yadda.

Not only does it take millions of dollars but years of clinical testing before something is approved. He might get cleared to sell something as any American citizen or businessman could, he just wouldn't get FDA approval. So he'd be basically selling snake oil.

No different than any other late night infomercial gimmick miracle cure for anything else.
