Blackballed in this discussion isn't used meaning every lane was stopped from them. But with the people I named, it was definite higher powers flexing their muscle to shut down avenues.

But let's get the easiest one. Joseph Budden wasn't blackballed. He was difficult to deal with due to being bi-polar and bytch made and Def Jam didn't know how to market him because he didn't carry himself like he wanted to be a star. Def Jam also fukked his album by putting his hit single on the fast and furious soundtrack that dropped a week before his album. Difficult to deal with + low sales =/= blackballed. He's had other deals since then.
Blackballed is Irv Gotti physically picking up phones and calling people to not fukk with 50 and offering them murder Inc artist at a discounted price to cut 50 out.
