Nah Fat Joe might be the most improved rapper ever. His first album he was worse than basic. By his second album he was actually good. And now he's a solid rapper. Nothing spectacular but miles ahead of his debut.

Yeah that Don Cartgena album is 100% ghostwritten. I think by Armaggedon. It's definitely his rhyme patterns in that. Fat Joe never spit like that before or since.

Jealous Ones Envy that dropped in 1995, that might've been natural progression since he wasn't overly complex with the rhyme schemes. It seemed more gradual.

Seven years later gotta publicly take back what I said about Cole. He DEFINITELY improved skill-wise since 2018. One of the most impressive level ups of the modern era.
