They've both got classics though.

just speaking personally, i went thru UGK's entire cat and kept about 10 songs the other day. i like them alot as rappers, but i dont like Mike Dean/N.O. Joe/Pimp's beats. not for me.

i like Texas' rappers alot more than production

I hear you...
I like those kinds of beats a lot (obviously not as much as I like Havoc, Premier, Dre, etc.). But I think putting our personal taste to the side, Riding Dirty is widely considered a classic as well as the Diary and potentially 4 other Face albums :russ:
@Inspect Her Deck is gonna make a thread about Face classics today.
I think this thread is more about the artists who never really connected beyond a few songs here and there...but have a wide influence. Otherwise, we could say this applies to Pac, Nas Jay as well.
@Wacky D am I right?

I'll start with Jerry Rice"

why do alot of yall act like bi*ches and get in your feelings on here? i dont even know you and you mad at me because i said something that you dont like about a group that doesnt give a dam about your existence. whats funny is, i was a 3-6 mafia fan back in the day and probably supported them more than you and the weirdos that dapped you COMBINED.

aint add no content or nothing to your posts. just dumbass dikkriding chit. and yall wonder why this board fell off.

youre correct about the basis of the thread.

but that ridin dirty album is not a consensus classic at all. its the south banding together to boost it.

yea, i mean i like "super tight" alot. thats a borderline classic.

outside of that, i probably would only keep about 10 songs myself.

Lil B easily takes this, if were talking about consensus opinions

dude has absolutely no flow/skills at all, but cats know who he is and he used Clams very early on

Lil B has better vocal delivery than 99% of new rappers. To me, after Rocky, it's Lil B. He has a great voice for rap. Why else do you think those songs work even when he's offbeat and random as fukk? Because his voice carries a lot of personality.
