Just listen to any big sean verse...

Or any fabulous verse from the last 5 years or so...

Just any type of punchline rapper who's references are full of stuff like video games, movies, tv shows, trends,

Fabulous is a perfect example of a dude who ran with Big Sean style...early fab never did that many pop culture references...new fab is so bad at forcing them...

Papoose bad :scust:

:dahell:

that chit is nothing new.

thats not a big sean style. come on man.

this reminds me of that reverse punchline style that people tried to credit big sean & drake for. thats why ludacris chitted on them.

Hell DJ Paul created the fukkin 808 for god's sake

:wtf::wtf:

and dont think i didnt catch that weasel ass sub that you threw. the only person thinking about outkast is you. they didnt even cross my mind. their influence is minimal, and to their credit they have a classic album.

instead of thinking up subliminals, posting excessive smileys, and looking up silly gifs, you should use that time to learn your history before you try to come at my neck on the slick

dj paul created 808s now.:snoop:

everybody with a name has at least a lil somethin that slaps in real-time.

the question is, wheres the classics?

at least with max & gucci, they have the classic underground chit. MURDA mase too.
OP ain't ask for classics though. I mean what is a classic? You gotta have a collective come in and vote for it to be considered a "classic" when it should represent a time in your life. Lil B has classic stuff for me because it reminds me of a time in my teenage years, just rolling. That's classic imo.

And dudes need to stop with this underground talk, it's really overground, underground is mainstream bottom of the barrel yunk that gets released to the masses who don't take time to investigateeeeeeeeeeee

I didn't say drum machine idiot. I'm talking about the southern 808 that everyone uses.
Watch the video @1:53 mark

Paul & Juice deserve full credit for taking some of those production techniques and spreading them nationwide...but as far as being the actual creators...8ball/MJG, DJ Squeeky & DJ Zirk deserve credit for pioneering them memphis style 808 drum & bass patterns in particular that are so popular today...shyt...the bassline & drum pattern for "slob on my knob" was ripped from a DJ Squeeky song "lookin 4 da chewin"...didn't touch it up, flip it or anything.

That dark, cinematic shyt...with the obscure, flipped up samples...that's all Paul & Juice...they combined that with Ball/G/Squeeky/Zirk's drum & bass patterns...and magic happened.

Dipset and Fashion. They made it cool for street dudes to abandon baggy clothes and go for the slim fit. Especially Stack Bundles.

Dude, in who's eyes? There's no council that sits and votes on what we consider a classic, it's all by cultural mention, but that means nothing. If I consider Reasonable Doubt classic, then it must be something personal to me, otherwise why am I putting this type of label on it. Just because I don't get into a circle with you guys and entertain your circle jerk, that doesn't mean what I'm saying is wrong. Maybe your eyes, but OP asked for our opinions, not your opinion on mine.

They're not underground, why would you consider a genre whos core fanbase pays attention to these type of MCs underground, when they pay more attention to them than the ones in the mainstream? If that's the case then 90 percent of the genre is underground. Face it, MC's we talk about on here are considered underground by people who don't follow the genre, but in actuality they're not underground, you're just not fans of the genre.
