That's not a good reason to mimic him vocally, though.

Production and content is one thing - flows and inflections is another.

Don't get it twisted, ask @TheDarceKnight I'm a big Rap fan, but it just irks me knowing that for 8 projects she's been herself and now she's letting little bits of another rapper seep into her style.

I feel you. Maybe she just was influenced by him. Thats how I see it, not biting.

Not sure what alot of y'all nikkas is talking about. This is literally the best project Rapsody has ever done imo.

If there is any Rapsody project better than this enlighten me.
IMO it's either this or Crown and I know I may be in the minority but something about Crown hitting right after Trump won and knowing some of those songs were recorded afterwards really made that project hit me with a lot of emotion. It may sound corny. But Crown just hit me at a special time, and I really thought it was her best work up to that point. This project is probably a small step up, but still...

It's sort of like The Infamous and Hell on Earth. Weird analogy? Maybe. Stay with me. The Infamous is the beter album but some people prefer Hell on Earth and most of them admit Infamous is better but that they have logical reasons for preferring Hell on Earth to where it's not a crazy ass opinion.

Really liking this so far even if she does sound a little bit Kendrick on a track or two.

Nobody is

The female is out-rapping 90% of the “rappers” out there right now.

Girl power :blessed:

I agree, it's definitely more influence than biting, but when someone has things about their style that are as unique as Kendrick, mimicking them really stands out.
What's so unique about Kendrick's style again? I hear clear Eminem, Andre 3000, and Jay influences in it.

Damn Rap actually delivered the album I was going for. Production on this is crazy throughout and Rap is def doing her thing.

I was tryna find a link to cop the CD so I can show some love but it seems to be digital only :ohhh:
