Uncertain grounds
I see it both ways. Boycotting the game would send a strong message and reinforce the importance of the situation. On the other hand, boycotting the game isnt going to make cops act appropriately or make Trump do something. If the players think its the right thing to do and that their hearts wouldnt otherwise be in it then they should boycott...but then comes the question of when would they play again? should every team boycott every game until there is some reform? i dont know but ill respect whatever they decide to do

The responses in this thread are identical to white supremacists commenting on any player commenting on social justice comments made on Instagram or Twitter.

Just waiting for someone to say that if Jacob Blake followed the rules he wouldn't have been shot. Or mention a recent shooting in Chicago.

Good job Coli, you pieces of shyt. Here I thought we were on the same page and side of these athletes making these statements. Forgive my ignorance.

I have no idea how you got that impression from the replies in this thread. :mjtf: At least quote the people next time instead of making a blanket statement.

Going home would be a major statement :ehh:
I'm tired of "statements" and I'm especially tired of black people with zero systemic power feeling like they have to make them. I get the frustration and helplessness, but this is on white people to fix. They need to step the fukk up. Imagine if every white media person in the bubble left and went to Kenosha to investigate/report. I'd much rather see that than see Jaylen or Vanfleet put their careers and lives on the line to help fix a country that hates them.
