lol you trippin. Bron playing no damn matter what. He want that ring
They’ll get back on the court at some point, but now that the bucks jumped and the raptors/Celtics were already considering it, I imagine every team gonna be feeling some pressure to follow suit

prob start back up Saturday

what if teams decide to prolong this boycott to really send a message? that would be great.

I fukks with the way the Bucks did it. The Element of surprise and the shock at actually doing it is more of a statement than all this pregame Bluffing the Raptors were doing.
What bluffing? Raptors celtics isn't until tomorrow for them to do it. Not their fault reporters started tweeting about it. Maybe that pushed the Bucks to do it. I still salute them but doesn't mean Raptors and Celtics weren't going to do it tomorrow night either.

Don’t Talk about it, be About it. The Bucks had it in mind and didn’t talk about it. They Just did it. All this chit chat players have with the press is disgusting.

Sports will always be a distraction and in racial situations like this, only something radical will get us noticed and heard

-Wearing I can’t breathe shirts back in 2014 was a gesture

-wearing a statement on the back of a jersey in 2020 was a gesture

if you cut off a sports season that could be radical enough as a statement and gives the players a chance to all come together and share resources to make change. You see how nikkas came together overnight and got all teams to boycott today? Imagine what they could do in a couple months

both of these instances led up to countless police brutality cases and ain’t a damn thing change. As long as we’re all focused on sports, theres less attention we pay to social justice issues. Posting a tweet, IG picture etc are also gestures. Going outside and doing something, putting money aside to raise money for an issue, voting, signing petitions in your local government, being informed etc, are how you make change.

Agree with you. Could have easily said we ain’t playing, yet just talked about “possibly sitting out” To seem like they wanted to but then the Bucks came thru and crushed the Building
