The best coach we've ever had, however, time to move on. Not sure MLSE has the guts to hire Ime but I sure hope so.

Once his salary got "leaked" earlier this season, the writing was on the wall
Leafs are good again, so they probably won't meddle too much about what's happening with the Raptors

I knew something was coming with the Masai press conference and Nurse outburst about his future which was u provoked let you know what time it was.

I management should be next because this whole roster of 6’8 guys who all do the same thing isn’t working. We need to do a rebuild ..

@Miggs @jdubnyce @MikelArteta @Guess Who and the rest of the raps gang, it’s a new day :wow:

Masai missed out on Giannis ONE TIME and tried to sign a bunch of 6'8-6'9 guys thinking that would be enough these past 3 years is completely unacceptable.

He better draft people who can actually score and handle the ball. It's tiring watching the likes of OG fumble the ball or travel with it multiple times a game. If he stands pat with this core, this team will be a disaster to watch for years to come
which can be done easily, fvv, gary trent, poetl are free agents
OG has a year left on his deal same with pascal

im all in for embracing the tank

Trade a top 6 protected pick for fukking Jakob Poeltl and his legendary 10/10 games. Imagine the pick ended being Bronny James and we lost on getting LeBron for his last year because of Jakob Poeltl :francis:

Nah, Raptors had a good chance winning the following season. The following season Raptors finished 2nd in the East and in the 2nd round took the Celtics to game 7. If Kawhi was on that team we would've most likely went back to back. After that season everything went downhill though
Yep folks quickly forget the team still won 53 games without filling anything close to Kawhi's spot. He stays, good chance they repeat at Disneyworld. Wish they ran it back on a 1+1, especially to face Bron and beat him for once in the finals :mjcry:

no offense but why would udoka want to coach the raptors? this is coming from a raps fan. obv he doesn't have many options due to his uhhh transgressions but the raptors roster is WOAT. there's really no upside. i'd take that houston job 10/10

How much were they supposed to win with this team?

It’s a horribly constructed roster filled with non shooters. You can’t win that way in 2023

I feel like we’d be looking at Masai way different if Pop doesn’t send Kawhi there instead of to LA out of spite

its not the wins, he played guys like 40mpg, countless bigg leads were blown because of fatigue, not one young player developed under his watch
