These wild dogs are no fukking joke.
They have stamina and will just tire the prey out..one dog sets the pace...then the next one up and the next one until the prey gets tired.
Next they start eating the prey alive from the stomach , ass and genitals (
I've seen a pack boss off a herd elephants from a water hole
They stick together and they generally mate pair for lives..which can lead to longer lifespan and doesn't lead to them taking each other out like Lions do in pride takeovers.
The wild dog alpha female will suckle ALL pups....up to a dozen cubs has been reported. They like underground dens for their pups.
