Jordan was a rookie in 1984. Why would he be competing with Bird, Magic, Isiah and Moses? He was 21 years old He was ready at 28 in 1991 when he hit his prime. And he took over after that. Dummies don’t even realize that Isiah Thomas was born in 1961. His championship window is the same age range (1988-1990 which made him 27-29).

Because you have to nitpick when comparing G.O.A.T.s. Jordan's contemporaries were competing for / winning championships around that age.
