What really stunk for me is that none of the RB handcuffs I held onto got an opportunity for a starting role.

The biggest RB handcuffs were Ray Davis in Buffalo and Blake Corum in LA...and somehow both starters never got seriously injured all year.

Other guys that I picked up and dropped at various times DID wind up getting playing time: Tyrone Tracy and Tank Bigsby come to mind.
You can only hold onto so many guys on your bench though.
I had Braelon Allen for the longest time and kept trying to flip him to the Hall owner (who had Charbonnet) so I could cuff Ken Walker. He never bit though.

Complete redraft/no keepers? Because Nico falling to 24 in a .5 PPR is insane. If Pollard keeps a semi-workhorse role when Spears returns, you'll be really set. Hopefully Fields can be Lamar-lite for you as well (I could see him being more valuable than Purdy).

Meanwhile I feel the opposite. Draft didn't quite shake out the way I thought it would, so ended up vulnerable in a few areas:

14-team, standard, 1 keeper, 14th pick (defending champ)

QB: Lamar Jackson
RB: Chase Brown
RB: Jaylen Warren
WR: Brian Thomas (7th rd keeper)
WR: Mike Evans
TE: Tyler Warren
Flex: Jameson Williams
D/ST: Arizona

Bench:
RB: Travis Etienne
RB: Bhayshul Tuten
WR: Romeo Doubs
RB: Blake Corum
D/ST: New England
TE: Jonnu Smith

IR: Joe Mixon

The way the draft played out, Jefferson actually fell to 14, but I went with the Brown/Lamar combo instead. Recency bias for Lamar (he was my QB for last year's championship, but also I wanted a sure-fire RB as well). Smart money might have been to go Jefferson and Brown (or Bucky and Brown) and then snag Fields or Kyler a few rounds later. Also picked Tyler Warren over Travis Kelce when the option presented itself.

I need to hope Warren holds off Kaleb Johnson, and either Etienne or Tuten gets the lion's share of RB work in Jacksonville. Joe Mixon was a potential keeper play for next year, but the Texans have a bye in week 6. I think Week 7 is the key to look for if Mix is going to play this year. If he can come back healthy this year and I'm in the playoff picture, that's a potential cheat code.

No keepers. Genuinely couldn’t believe Nico was falling. I’d been talking up Lamar and Allen in the group chat cause I realized if Lamar and Allen go before the 2-3 turn, some of the backs I wanted would fall. Lamar went in the first, then I saw breece and Kyren go in the second and I shouldn’t believe my eyes. Dream scenario was Bijan, Bucky, Chase (wanted to try heavy rb build this year) but I was cool settling for Bijan, one of the QBs and BPA. Then I saw Nico, Achane, BTJ, Chase, and Irving all falling. BTJ and Irving went so I was thinking do I still to all backs and take Bijan, Achane, and Chase? But Nico is literally my WR 3 on my board. So I had to take him. And Achane’s upside is too good to pass up even with injuries.

QB is the only position I’m concerned about. Hopefully Purdy gets back on track or Fields breaks out. My team is also full of injury risks. End of the year, I wouldn’t be surprised if Achane, Walker, Nico and fields miss time. But scared money ain’t make no money

I have Warren in a keeper league. I think he continues the trend of rookie TEs going crazy. This team has a real shot. Especially if mixon comes back and does something. I have him in the keeper league too.

So I don’t play half PPR but I like this team a lot.

Probably the consensus is that Golden will have a better fantasy season than Pearsall.

I’m not so sure. Jennings isn’t 100% to start the season. McCaffrey has the injury history and he’s 29. And Kittle is 31 going into his 9th year. And TE’s seem to fall off the map quickly if they’re not getting TDs.

There is a good chance Pearsall becomes the WR1 this season. Would I have drafted him in the first 5 rounds? No. But as a value pick? I think he could wind up a Top 30 WR.

To be fair Golden could be as good or better. It kind of depends how the targets shake out. I think there is more balance in the GB offense. So I don’t see a 30% target share for Golden.

How come you didn't go after Charbonnet as a handcuff? KW3 is a good RB, but is gimpy AF!

Achane is also gimpy, but great! Mc Bride is very good, but doesn't get many TDs. I hope K. Murray changes that for Trey!

Your team is good, but I can't say with confidence that you have a championship quality squad. You do have a competitive squad and have just as good if a chance to make a 6 team playoffs, if your league has one.

In see that you have targeted WRs in the early to mid rounds. You have a decent squad!

I like your squad for a 14 man league!

I might post the draft board. Just multiple head scratchers at the top of your draft. These aren’t rookies either. Most of them have been in the money league for the last 5 years. But you never know with fantasy. Gotta get your guys. I did like 50 mock drafts and nothing could prepare me for how it actually turned out 😂

I’m not a McBride guy at all and I usually just target Njoku or get a rookie, but he fell to the 4-5 turn. The value was just way too good.

I know the dude at the 12 spot was literally wasted by round 6 😂. Started off strong with Ceedee and Nabers at the turn. But then He picked Dak and CJ back to back in rounds 5-6. I thought it was autodraft. I texted him take yourself off auto cause the machine is fukking you up and he texted me “nah that was me” :dead:. Bro woke up the next morning and texted me “Yooo my team is trash”:pachaha:. I don’t drink but I think half the members were getting a Labor Day head start

I should’ve. I don’t usually think about handcuffs when I draft. I know I need to. Charb went after I took pollard. Biggest fukk up was talking blue at the end instead of Ollie. And I fukk with Ollie. Was gonna pick him up after the draft but he got auto drafted a pick before Mr irrelevant smh. But if them nikkas get hurt, I’m screwed regardless so it is what it is :manny:
