Meanwhile I feel the opposite. Draft didn't quite shake out the way I thought it would, so ended up vulnerable in a few areas:
14-team, standard, 1 keeper, 14th pick (defending champ)
QB: Lamar Jackson
RB: Chase Brown
RB: Jaylen Warren
WR: Brian Thomas (7th rd keeper)
WR: Mike Evans
TE: Tyler Warren
Flex: Jameson Williams
D/ST: Arizona
Bench:
RB: Travis Etienne
RB: Bhayshul Tuten
WR: Romeo Doubs
RB: Blake Corum
D/ST: New England
TE: Jonnu Smith
IR: Joe Mixon
The way the draft played out, Jefferson actually fell to 14, but I went with the Brown/Lamar combo instead. Recency bias for Lamar (he was my QB for last year's championship, but also I wanted a sure-fire RB as well). Smart money might have been to go Jefferson and Brown (or Bucky and Brown) and then snag Fields or Kyler a few rounds later. Also picked Tyler Warren over Travis Kelce when the option presented itself.
I need to hope Warren holds off Kaleb Johnson, and either Etienne or Tuten gets the lion's share of RB work in Jacksonville. Joe Mixon was a potential keeper play for next year, but the Texans have a bye in week 6. I think Week 7 is the key to look for if Mix is going to play this year. If he can come back healthy this year and I'm in the playoff picture, that's a potential cheat code.
