I’m scared of what the conclusion would be like Sh!t is getting stranger by the minute in the manga. This is one of the stories that just isn’t meant to have a happy ending.

10 for the 97 version despite its shortcomings. Great music, atmosphere and its deviation from the manga actually benefits it.

The movies while good, were just a reiteration of the Golden Age arc. It did give a conclusion to how Guts was able to survive the eclipse.

Then the 2016 version came. It wasn't that bad except for the bad CGI and awful pacing of the plot. Character development was secondary to the clang.

Overall 8.5.

Casca got her memory back but can't see Guts (Too traumatized). Last time I read the manga, the crew was on their way to Fairy Island. That was 2011. It took 8/9 years for the plot to move forward an inch.

Miura's gonna die before the halfway point of the manga.
