I don’t believe in 10 ratings. That would mean a universal understanding which would never happen. I’m not old so his music doesn’t resonate with me. I don’t hate his music either. Just not wowed by his voice, when I listen to oldies it’s Some James brown, EWF, Barry white shyt like that. His music doesn’t captivate me like that, I don’t get emotional listening to his music. I don’t care about his scandals, I actually think he didn’t do it I just don’t care for his music like older people do. I’m not going to rate because I don’t want to be disrespectful, if we’re talking performances easily the best 10/10 but his is another conversation. Again the song he came out with when I was young was rock my world not a bad song at all, I have no desire to revisit any MJ’s songs :yeshrug: . I don’t have that emotional connection to it like y’all but doesn’t mean I hate him or will tell people to change the music if he’s playing.
:camby:

fukk outta here being young is not even an excuse

I’m just trying to wrap my head around growing up in a black household 2000’s or before and not be surrounded by MJ’s music
We were playing the artists that people weren’t riding their dikks like Anita baker,Nat king cole, maze, Jeffrey Osborne more obscure not as popular artist of that era. We wasn’t playing a lot Stevie either what’s the big deal people grow up different get used to it.

People really don't get how he maxed out so many categories in terms of stats, changed the game and crowned himself King after starting as a pawn with a dollar, dream and Joe screaming "Sing mu*#§§¢#•#!a" as he laid the beats.

What he had and where he got to create what he made are alone indisputable but the craziness behind the scenes when it comes to this reality show called Earth that he dealt with in private was something that would've broken lesser men. This Warrior dropped gems for those were also resonant across higher realms which is why he asked - Are you listening?

Read this poem that MJ wrote that describes the Game of Souls in clarity.

Are you listening?

Who am I?

Who are you?

Where did we come from?

Where are we going?

What’s it all about?

Do you have the answers?

Immortality’s my game

From Bliss I came

In Bliss I am sustained

To Bliss I return

If you don’t know it now

It’s a shame

Are you listening?

This body of mine

Is a flux of energy

In the river of time

Eons pass, ages come and go

I appear and disappear

Playing hide-and-seek

In the twinkling of an eye

I am the particle

I am the wave

Whirling at lightning speed

I am the fluctuation

That takes the lead

I am the Prince

I am the Knave

I am the doing

That is the deed

I am the galaxy, the void of space

In the Milky Way

I am the craze

I am the thinker, the thinking, the thought

I am the seeker, the seeking, the sought

I am the dewdrop, the sunshine, the storm

I am the phenomenon, the field, the form

I am the desert, the ocean, the sky

I am the Primeval Self

In you and I

Pure unbounded consciousness

Truth, existence, Bliss am I

In infinite expressions I come and go

Playing hide-and-seek

In the twinkling of an eye

But immortality’s my game

Eons pass

Deep inside

I remain

Ever the same

From Bliss I came

In Bliss I am sustained

Join me in my dance

Please join me now

If you forget yourself

You’ll never know how

This game is played

In the ocean bed of Eternity

Stop this agony of wishing

Play it out

Don’t think, don’t hesitate

Curving back within yourself

Just create… just create

Immortality’s my game

From Bliss I came

In Bliss I’m sustained

To Bliss I return

If you don’t know it now

It’s a shame

Are you listening?

The man was a sage to those who could actually hear what he was saying but it takes a Warrior to reconize the same but thats all in the Game where 81% are Slave and proud of it as they look but don't see a thing....

You don't come up with things like that unless you're vibrating at a higher state because in a few bars he just told you the truth of what is, was and will be.

Salute to the once and future King :salute:I heard what you were saying, loud and clear from then till the end about the true nature of this realm and what goes on behind the curtains of ignorance draped in the veils of deception.

This man was operating on another level:

Speculate to break the one you hate
Circulate the lie you confiscate
Assassinate and mutilate
As the hounding media in hysteria
Who's the next for you to resurrect
JFK exposed the CIA
Truth be told the grassy knoll
As the blackmail story in all your glory

In the hood
Frame him if you could
Shoot to kill
To blame him if you will
If he dies sympathize
Such false witnesses
Damn self righteousness
In the black
Stab me in the back
In the face
To lie and shame the race
Heroin and Marilyn
As the headline stories of
All your glory
:ohlawd:
This is why they destroyed him. Mike was too powerful and he saw through the industry’s bull.

These white folks running the industry hate that. They love these new millenum basehead mumble rappers because they don’t think… they just push whatever self destructive messages the suits tell them to, and when they’ve run their course or they step out of line, they’re thrown out like yesterdays trash.

The suits HATE guys like Michael Jackson, Prince, Berry Gordy, and Sam Cooke because they were smart enough to see through the racism, call it out, and outhustle the industry.

These suits don’t want another Chuck D. They They don’t want another Tupac, or an Ice Cube, or another Boogie Down Productions… and they definitely don’t want another Michael Jackson to outhustle them and buy up all their publishing.
They’re scared of real music.
