How bad is the crime and racism there compared to other Central American cities?

This is facts, and a little fukked up. Prostitution is a gray market in Panama. Women can sell ass, but only in brothels, bars, or clubs, not on the street. They need a special visa, and they get extorted by immigration to keep them. Hit up the Veneto hotel or the Habano Club if you want fine women.

Looks like same with Colombia. Seems like alot of these cities you've done have experienced a huge growth in population and infrastructure these past 25 years or so. There's more money circulating around the world since then so more growth. Granted there's definitely dirt poor areas out there tho.

Went on a cruise and went thru the Panama Canal on an excursion some years back and that was a cool thing to experience.

It’s sort of the same with the United States. Cities that were once riddled with crime and high levels of poverty are now experiencing huge economic and population growth but at the same time all of the poor and long time residents of those cities are being pushed out while the upper class move in.

The Martinelli presidency ushered in a huge economic boom. There is a TON of international capital flowing into the country. Bank towers are all over the downtown area. They seem to want to be another tax and banking haven.

I loved it there when I went there for my birthday last year. It's like a hybrid of Cuba, Jamaica and Miami. Food is good, weather is off the hook and the nightlife is dope. I didn't spend nearly enough time there as I should have. I'm definitely planning on going back.

Panama is an interesting country as a whole. Beautiful scenery and wildlife and diverse landscapes.
