I lived in both, but born and raised in Chicago
Women it’s a tie, they both have good and bad points, but you will see more women trying to move to Atl than the chi, but don’t get it twisted it’s hella girls in Chicago
Shopping is great you can find everything in Chicago
Restaurants in Chicago are great and diverse, from African, to polish, and many nationalities between
Crime it’s rough in the chi, but i think it gets publicized more also so i can’t call it
I’d say Atl, but minor edge, it’s highly saturated in Atl and greater Atl area, job wise, but it is a black Mecca. But there is a push to get us up out of there
Education is personal choice so I’m neutral, but as far as board of education for the little people i can speak on Chicago, they need to be better paid in Chicago (teachers) and some schools need to get combined and overhauled
Sports is king in Chicago, and we have a title in every major sport
Illinois/Chicago is ridiculously expensive
Obviously Atl has better weather
I found a few 24 spots in Atl not so much Chicago
Oh you stayed in the city
Born and raised, chi town til i die, it’s a diverse city with a rich deep culture, the city was founded by a black man DuSable, there is really historic black neighborhoods like bronzeville and Pullman, and pill hill (where black doctors and professionals lived) we have a ton of businesses there, museums, concerts fest different ethnicities
All this. Though I will say that with education for black folks who are teachers they have one of the most powerful unions in amerca backing them. The city comes up short on their money and they are going to shut the city down.
Also chicago does have a lot of women and so does ATL. What I will give ATL and a lot of cities in the south is that they have warm weather for most of the year. So you are more prone to see women wear skimpy clothes throughout the year.
