Haven't been to Nashville in many years, since Summer 2010 I believe. Almost moved there with a chick I was dating back in 2011...

Finna be here for work from Jan 31 thru Feb 4, all weekdays, but point me in the direction of what's hot for me to get into!

Just left.
Lots of opportunity, more jobs locationing from high tax states each year. My son attended HBCU there, started a career and family, living nicer than cousins in Cali.
Logistically located within 5 hour drive to east and south major cities.
Many people leaving west coast for TN.

Nashville is dope!

It's blacker than people assume, kind of like how Boston is blacker than people assume (Nashville is around 26% black)...

And actually there are several parallels to Boston. Nashville has a TON of black history, it'll probably shock you upon view. It's black community is highly educated, too, and Black Nashville is heavy on the arts and creativity just like Nashville citizens as a whole...

For me, it's one of the few cities in the South I really, really like. Great weather, great people, lotta shyt to do. I almost moved here in 2011 or 2012 with an ex, we made serious progress towards going, then we broke up and went our separate ways (she ended up in Kentucky)...

I've enjoyed every trip I've been, it's an amazing city. You're coming from Pittsburgh right, but originally outta Philly? It's about the same size as Pittsburgh but the blackness of Nashville is gonna be felt more...

Moving here for work - solo, no family.

I've visited a few times and always had good time.

Atlanta was my focus to move to, but I figured I try something different....seems like everyone moves to ATL.

Nashville waaayyyyy better than Atlanta. Atlanta is garbage...

You've visited so you have a semblance of a feel going in. I'd choose Nashville over Atlanta 10 times outta 10, best of luck to you on your move!
