I love Philly, esp in the summertime

It seems lively during the summertime. I’m planning on going up there for a day or two next month.

Philadelphia is 10 times better than Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh doesnt have an urban feel at all or a Northeastern feel. It feels like a midwestern or southern city.

Meanwhile...Philly is a REAL city! It has a real public transportation system...flat with very little hills...shaped like a grid...more diversity...better looking women...more opportunities...more money...more jobs...more young people.

Philly doesnt even claim Pittburgh and never did.



Infact...alot of cities don't really speak on Pittsburgh too highly in the Northeast. Its kind of the worst part of it.

Living in Pittsburgh....my first moving after college was to originally move to Philly 10 years ago...but I moved to Brooklyn instead.

I was thinking bout applying to a school in Pittsburgh ngl but the way dis site keep shiing on the city idk

I also agree with the assessment some ppl have regarding Philly vs. NYC.

Outside of Center City and most of South Philly, I get more of a DC/Baltimore vibe from Philly in terms of how it looks and how it’s setup and how its neighborhoods function and their scale.

I dated a brehette from Pittsburgh a few years ago who would always react in disgust whenever I bring up Philly

Philly food scene is top 5 in the country, arguably the best

• When is Night Market coming back? The streets need it.
• Watched Bel Air recently and saw the shots of 60th St...went to SunnySide on 60th & Market on Friday for a breakfast platter

Looking forward to the development along Penn's Landing

• That 11 acre park gonna be perfect for the kids
• How does Wilmington have better riverfront restaurant options than Philly? The development along Penn's Landing will make Philly even more lively

We need to bring back the Greek Picnic...those 90 Greek Picnics were TF CRAZY

• South Street after Greek Picnic did one thing all the way up until about 2003-04
• Club Mickey Deez on the late night after the Greek

I'd like to see one more major concert festival besides Roots Picnic & Made In America too

I wouldn't mind if the Sixers put their arena downtown but I know traffic & parking would be a nightmare

I feel the same way, it’s the Neo Soul vibes breh. That city is literally oozing with it and is one of the reasons why I love it so much

I think there’s a massive difference between Philly and New York.

They should never be compared IMO

Philly is a great American city; compare Philly with Baltimore Boston Pittsburgh Atlanta Dallas New Orleans Detroit Denver Charlotte

New York is a great GLOBAL city; compare NYC with London Tokyo Paris Singapore Toronto and Dubai maybe

NYC is literally 10x the size of Philadelphia and 10x the population, America’s model mega city and global capital.
