• Named after one of the COLDEST New Edition songs
• had a cameo on Fresh Prince
• Had a cameo in the Jackson 5 movie
• Made a song for Momma
• Power love ballads with lyrics confused that were about stomping on fingers and telling the girl don’t blame this on me
• Took the Carlton Banks/ Urkel prep look and made it cool.
• And we got the Wanye Morris signature that every black person does when singing a Boys II Men song

I feel like he lucked up with them. Remember the rest of the “talent” he discovered?

Ehhh, I can recognize they were hugely popular and had hits.
But I always thought they were so lame.

They became lame...starting out wit mike b they had that hood appeal.....


They low key abandoned all that tho....

They had a legendary short run of 7 years then collapsed.

2 great albums filled with chart topping hits.
However there rain didnt last long enough, they weren't good enough for long enough, dru hill came through and kinda knocked them off

But from 1991-95 they were untouchable
Babyface wrote them there biggest hits, after babyface walked out on them they never had success even close to there first 2 albums.


I'm giving them a 8...

I gave them a 9 because even tho at their peak they were the biggest R&B group ever, their run was only about 5 years. So I took away a point for longevity.

I went with a 9 but could easily see a 10. The only reason I couldn't give them a 10 was a lack of longevity. It's crazy to me how a group as talented as they were could go from being so huge to ice cold so damn quick. Also while their singles were amazing their albums usually left me disappointed.

I was so hyped as a youngster about Biv10 when "All 4 One" came out.

9/10. Some of the most talented brothers singing and I have had the pleasure of see them live twice, they sound even BETTER live. A lot like the Temptations, it's rare when you get a group where every member can hold down a song. While their run was not at the level of the Temptations (whose was though), they set the benchmark for 90's R&B

I remember I went on a deep dive trying to see what happened to some of those people. I think all I could find was random shyt about that fat white dude who still tried to sing afterwards. But yeah, that video was over the top.
