• Took the Carlton Banks/ Urkel prep look and made it cool.

Considering how many male group acts went in the opposite direction, this was a pretty gutsy call from whoever was managing them.

10 all day, their choice of songs, a powerful lead vocalist, hits, the prep asthetic they went with one of the greatest of all time. Wanye is one of the all time great vocalists

Can sing in any era. They can do doo wop eras from the 60s. (in the still of the night), harmonize like the soulful groups of the 70s(its so hard to say goodbye), Sing with soul and passion like the 80s, or sing with a hip hop edge in the 90s(Hey lover, Sympin).

I mean the group has 0 weaknesses. All 4 members are strong vocally and together are like voltron.

Has record breaking hits like Ill make love to you, end of the road and one sweet day.

I could go on but when you are this versatile, when you have no weaknesses and have the catalog to back it up. The only score I can give you is a 10.

I went with a 9 but could easily see a 10. The only reason I couldn't give them a 10 was a lack of longevity. It's crazy to me how a group as talented as they were could go from being so huge to ice cold so damn quick. Also while their singles were amazing their albums usually left me disappointed.

I had to go back and give them a 10 after listening to their greatest hits album. Good lord their catalog is sick.

Their length of time on top wasn’t short for a boy band. The problem is that when they fell off, they fell off big time. In hindsight they’re unappreciated. They ran radio.

Michael was a simp with a bad back and Wanya being a crying bobble head made us forget he was smashing a 15 year old but hey it was the 90s.
