4-5. Real average. Average songs, horrible stylists and wardrobe.. they get no spins on my playlist. And Michele is horrible . Kelly should have been featured more . Should have just named the group, Beyoncé’s Children - she was always pushed to the forefront, screeching .

And yes, they’re average singers and entertainers. They were way overhyped bc their marketing and development was on heavy. They had the pull to blackball any group competing with them. They get a 4. I’ve heard way better indie groups. Destinys child crossed over with the pop appeal. Case closed.

I'll be real, when they were on, they were on but they came along at the very tail end of female r&,b group era, they missed the prime TLC, SWV...there main comp was blaque..

Michelle cant hold her own, Kelly did her best but comes up short, there solely dependant apon beyonce


Second they cant really dance or play instruments.

Third, there music didnt age well at all, besides bootylicious, emotions, Bill's Bill's, there catoglouge is average

At least with the Jackson 5 they all could play instruments, some could dance real good, they weren't totally dependent apon micheal

Michelle didn't sound good on the dc records she was featured on lol. Maybe she's better from a technical standpoint but that's it lol.

9/10 blending and harmonies I felt were really creative and bridged the gap amongst pop, Hip Hop, R&B and the tonal shift of music.....

Though to be honest, their production and writing teams were monsters and made their voices come alive....

No trash albums or singles, still replayable 20+ years later....

anything involving Beyonce is sure to be a little polarizing on this forum.. I don’t have to be a personal fan of their music (a bit too fiesty for me sometimes) and they were a bit heavy on the female empowerment niche, but they had huge presence, two classic records and great well known hits.. Say My Name and Survivor are bonefide classics.. Aside from Boys II Men their blend and harmonies was second to none esp. (Bey, Michelle and Kelly) all 3 ladies knew their way around the scale and had some dope ass chord progressions.. listening to some of their sh!t a capella is like hearing instruments.. they were a ‘whole package’ type pf group and their success reflected this.

SWV is a personal favorite of mine because I connected with their music more, but Destiny’s Child just had ‘it’ ..
